No wrestler on earth has had the upside of Edward ‘Teddy Hart’ Annis and so consistently screwed up every opportunity that’s come his way.

Often cited as one of the most talented and charismatic wrestlers to come out of Canada’s legendary Hart family, Hart’s legacy has been reduced to a cautionary tale thanks to his notorious unreliability and godawful attitude.

The youngest person ever to be signed to WWF/E in 1998 at eighteen years old, Hart has been let go by almost every company he’s ever worked for, and always for variations on the same issue: he’s a liability, out for himself, a rebel without a clue.

Always late, always stoned, always turning up with dogs and an entourage of liggers and hangers on, Hart’s a human car crash - and not in a fun, sexy way.

Amongst the many (many, many) stories of his idiocy, he was thrown out of Ring Of Honor in November 2003 for throwing up in front of the crowd and executing unplanned high spots (including moonsaults and a shooting star press from the top of a cage), causing the boys to risk their lives rushing to catch him. CM Punk was head trainer at ROH at the time, and had some choice words to say about it.

At 39 years old, Hart makes more money these days out of selling weed and dog breeding than he does from wrestling - yet he’s still out there, alienating promoters and burning bridges the length and breadth of America.
