As far as novelty goes, Fandango is right up there with the top acts. Fandango even recently underwent a character tweak; finding a new dance partner in the completely useless Rosa Mendes, new entrance music, new dance moves and new attire. But altering his music had an adverse effect. The one established thing Fandango could use to interact with the crowd had been taken away, so it's no wonder WWE have hastily gone back to tried-and-tested. But lets be honest, Fandango needs a new name, to drop the dance act altogether and get serious. He's never going to amount to any kind of level of recognition with this gimmick chaining him down. As it is at the moment - and has always been in his case - Fandango will just be a tool to gee up live crowds. It's a good thing, but it's not what every wrestler gets into the business for.
