10 WWE Superstars Who Should Make Appearances In The MCU
Becky Lynch seems set to join Dave Bautista in the MCU. Which other superstars should make the jump?
Marvel is getting ready to welcome 'The Man' to the big screen.
Recent reports claim that not only is Becky Lynch attracting the eye of folks in the television and film industries, but that she will be following up her Billions appearance with a feature in an upcoming Marvel movie. There's an ever-so-slight chance that the term "Marvel" may refer to a Sony production like Venom 2 or Morbius, but with so many more MCU films in production, let's assume the latter.
There's no time like the present to amplify Lynch's star power and the MCU provides an exceptional platform for her to become a household name for non-wrestling fans. Guardians of the Galaxy provided Bautista with such a career boost that he will likely never need to come out of wrestling retirement to pay the bills.
And let's not forget that Hollywood turned The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment into the highest-paid actor in the world.
With the uncertainty of the wrestling industry, now may be a perfect time for a few other superstars to find a place on the silver screen with help from an MCU appearance.
10. Roman Reigns
When reports broke the news that Hollywood was interested in Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns was also name-dropped. It seems that he was mentioned as having "the look of a star who will come off well on TV shows." With a role in the mega-successful franchise Hobbs and Shaw, as well as an appearance in The Wrong Missy, Reigns has a lot going for him.
The fact that he's The Rock's cousin gives him a more than a shot-in-the-dark chance at making it big in Hollywood.
Where could Reigns pop up in the MCU? It's anyone's guess, and while it seems logical to jettison him into a major motion picture, Roman may be better suited for the small screen. If producers really feel like he could do well as a TV actor, the Disney+ MCU shows are a perfect place to send him.
Roman Reigns may have been pushed as the WWE's Golden Boy, but Joe Anoa'i is an all-around good guy in real life. Despite his star-power, he's a humble, hardworking guy who wouldn't be a primadonna on set. Letting him cut his teeth in a show like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is a good idea.
