10 WWE Superstars Who Tried Their Hand At A Music Career

5. Jimmy Hart

Long before The Mouth of the South became one of the greatest managers in wrestling history, Jimmy Hart was a vocalist for fresh-faced, All-American pop band The Gentrys. The group played the clean-cut rock and roll music (and later a variation on Beach Boys-esque surf rock) that was so popular in the post-Beatles era. He didn't sing into a megaphone, unfortunately, and he wasn't afforded much of an opportunity to showcase his boisterous personality, either, as the music was a cookie cutter display of the trends from that era. The music wasn't bad, but it's not exactly what you'd expect from the loose-lipped Hart. The Gentrys did score one hit before fading into oblivion, the sticky sweet party song "Keep On Dancing", which stayed on the Billboard Top 100 for a couple of weeks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3eDANwoZok
