10 WWE Superstars Who Walked Away At Their Peak

1. CM Punk

He's already had a mention here, but CM Punk is perhaps the most notorious of all for walking away with so much left ahead of him. Punk made his decision to walk out on his WWE contract following the 2014 Royal Rumble, upon hearing the plans for him for the upcoming WrestleMania. Though the relationship officially ended when WWE 'fired' him. He's admitted since that he wasn't too keen on working with Triple H last year, but mounting injuries, poor treatment from doctors and his falling-out-of-love with the business were the reasons behind his departure. He put it a little more bluntly than that, of course. If your heart isn't into something, it's damn tough to put your head into it. Punk can't be blamed for that though, since it's damn sure hard to put a smile on your face whilst doing something you don't want to do. But now 36 and having broken into the main event scene for the last two-to-three years of his run, there was a lot that Punk left unwritten. We'll never see him wrestle in a WWE ring again, but we all know at this moment what his next move is. He's set for his UFC debut towards the back end of this year. Is there anybody missing from the list you'd feel is a better fit? Let us know with your comments!
