10 WWE Superstars Who Walked Away At Their Peak

4. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar has been back in WWE for just over three years, and man, isn't he the hottest property the company has got right now?! He initially left to pursue a career in the NFL in 2004, but was cut from the Minnesota Vikings prior to the start of the 2004/05 season. Brock returned to wrestling with New Japan the following year before winding up in MMA - going on to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship in November 2008. Talk about legitimacy. Who'll ever forget the night he returned to Raw and went after John Cena in 2012? Brock is the most intense, intimidating and dominant main event player we've come across in the modern era. He's recently signed a new deal with WWE, and while we never got to see Brock terrorise the roster over the course of his peak years, lets be grateful he's even back at all. Lesnar is pure box office. And the nature of his agreement with WWE over the course of the last and next few years means he'll stay that way. His in-ring style is unlike anything the WWE has ever seen and it's just so exciting to know he's around.
