The Rock is the biggest mainstream star WWE has ever produced. He's moved from the active roster to Hollywood like a duck to water, and there was reason to believe for a long time that he'd never return to the ring. But while he's making millions out there in movie land, wrestling fans feel a little robbed. The Rock stepped away as a full time Superstar with his best years ahead of him. It's incredible to think that as big as he was while in WWE, his real, full-time career lasted barely six years (give or take). While he was away, a certain John Cena came in to pick up where Rock left off and become the next big star. Despite sporadic appearances in between, The Rock's official return to the ring came at Survivor Series 2011 - 15 years after his debut - and he went on to headline WrestleMania with Cena for the following two years. He's still around now and could even feature on the card next April, but it'll always be a case of 'what might have been' when it comes to The Rock and his peak years.
