10 WWE Superstars Who Were The Best At Putting Over Young Talent

7. The Rock

Few achieved such consistently colossal pops as The Rock. And The Brahma Bull wasn't at all averse to using that adoration to get another guy over.

Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, and Mick Foley all benefitted from winning their first WWE Championship from The Rock, who only seemed to raise the importance of the belt with each ensuing title reign. And three of them did it while in their first year with the company.

It takes a complete lack of ego to continually drop the belt to rookies.

And while we're on the subject of Foley, he and The Rock entered into what has to be considered one of the greatest examples of "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours", with each of them taking turns getting the other guy over.

Because after Mankind cemented The Rock as a bona fide heel, The Rock turned around and gave Mick his first WWE Championship on an episode of Raw, and then turned him into a major fan favorite during The Rock N' Sock Connection.

The Rock's star-making qualities certainly didn't stop shining through when he launched into his epic heel run in 2003. Because while fans love The Rock, they love to hate The Rock more, and thus, love to love the enemies of The Rock. Make sense?

Perhaps sensing that his penance for "going Hollywood" needed to be grandiose, he even did his part to prop up the cruiserweight guys, helping Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, and even The Hurricane make a bigger splash.

Say what you will about his part-time status, that guy is just a class act.
