10 WWE Superstars Who Were The Best At Putting Over Young Talent
2. Mick Foley
It's a little weird how many people still think The Undertaker put Mick Foley on the map in WWE with that Hell in a Cell match when, in reality, Mick's epic spots at King of the Ring that night probably did for The Undertaker.
Regardless of how you view the legacy of that match, though, it simply can't be argued that Foley is one of the greatest of all time when it comes to getting other guys over.
Few superstars in the history of the business have put their bodies on the line as frequently as Mick Foley without seeking any sort of push in return.
On the contrary, he helped push Triple H as a main event star during what could have been a much shakier heel turn with the whole McMahon-Helmsley faction.
And while we already mentioned The Rock and Foley's give-and-take, it's important to remind everyone of the insane volume of intense chair shots Foley took during their I Quit match, which officially gave The Rock the most heat of any heel in recent memory.
But what really qualifies him as one of the most selfless superstars of all time is the way he made damn sure that fans would take Randy Orton and Edge serious as certified tough guys. He came out of retirement both times, pretty much just to give both superstars the match of their lives.
