10 WWE Superstars Who Weren't Drafted (And Why)

1. The Undertaker

Last but not least, the most conspicuous superstar to not have their name called in the WWE Draft was The Phenom himself, The Undertaker.

Similarly to the previous entrees on the list Triple H and The Rock, The Undertaker most recently competed at WrestleMania in Dallas in the highly anticipated Hell In A Cell match against Shane McMahon.

Rumors have circulated that Undertaker had been telling people following his battle with Shane that this was indeed his last match. It's a story that seems to be told every year following WrestleMania, but regardless of how unlikely the rumor may prove to be, it cannot be ignored.

The Undertaker was scheduled to be a part of WWE's tour of the United Kingdom shortly after WrestleMania, but was ultimately pulled from all events despite being previously advertised. This did nothing to quiet the rumors surrounding The Undertaker's retirement.

Perhaps The Deadman wasn't drafted because he truly is done in between the ropes. As much of a missed opportunity this would've been (by not heavily promoting and advertising such a colossal match and moment), it remains a possibility.

Another, more likely possibility is simply that WWE is treating The Undertaker's status the same way as other part-timers in that they will cross that bridge when they come to it.
