10 WWE Superstars Who Will Be Snubbed At WrestleMania 33

Who will have the WrestleMania moments bumped from the card in favour of the part-time brigade?

WrestleMania season is heating up and as has become tradition, we've started to see part-time faces from the past creeping back onto WWE programming. In San Antonio, old faithful John Cena reclaimed the WWE Championship and the Royal Rumble match featured the in-ring return of Lesnar, Goldberg, and The Undertaker. A night later, Triple H returned to Raw to cultivate his 'Mania feud with Rollins. All of this points to a WrestleMania dominated by part-time talent who are proven box office draws, but what about the rest of the roster?

Though 'Mania is undoubtedly WWE's biggest event of the year, they run shows year-round with full-time performers grinding it out in smaller venues all over the world. Despite proving their worth again and again these performers are forced to take a backseat when the bigger names return to the company, and while attaining their WrestleMania moment likely spurs them on throughout the year, we will probably see some outstanding performers working the pre-show or battle royal.

The following are such unfortunate names that won't really be looking forward to WrestleMania this year...

10. Rusev

Rusev is nowhere close to where he would like to be at the moment. Bogged down in a nothing feud with Enzo and Cass, it's hard to remember that only a few months ago the Bulgarian Brute was going to war with Roman Reigns over the US Title, and once upon a time he had a WrestleMania showdown with none other than John Cena.

Now that we're heading towards WrestleMania 33, Rusev simply does not have the momentum to pull together a meaningful program and more than likely he'll be a nameless face in the battle royal or a tag match.

An extremely hard-working midcarder, Rusev will suffer from the annual tradition of part-timer returns and exhibition matches that relegate the full-time talent to less prestigious spots. It will be a bitter pill to swallow that Shaquille O'Neal will be on the show whereas Rusev will likely be absent. All hope is not lost for him however, as Kurt Angle has shown that he is keen to return to action and the Bulgarian Brute would make sense as an opponent, but aside from that Rusev's 'Mania prospects are pretty thin.
