10 WWE Superstars Who Will Leave In 2016

8. Erick Rowan

When Braun Strowman made his debut as the newest member of the Wyatt Family in August 2015, the writing on the wall for Erick Rowan was upgraded from pencil to permanent marker. Where does he fit in with the new family? Previously, he acted as the muscle in a group of big men, but Strowman has more than eclipsed him in this respect. Bray is the head, Luke Harper is the talent with a big future and Strowman is a monster. Rowan? As things stand, he's just there to take the pins. His prior run outside of the family didn't inspire much in the way of hope for Rowan fans, and it would be no great surprise to see him released in the coming year. He is the perfect example of someone who performed a role and it performed it well for a couple of years, before the role itself became obsolete. 2016 will see the sheep-masked monster become yet another figure under the watchful eye of the buzzards.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
