10 WWE Superstars Who'd Be Better Off In The Indies (Or Overseas)

8. The Ascension

If WWE were smarter, The Ascension would have been booked for a solid year in every single independent promotion WWE could find around America, and show up on Raw draped in say championship titles. Then, all of their wild statements about being better than The Road Warriors, Demolition, The Powers of Pain and so many other teams would be founded in some sort of logic. Instead, they look like morons, and their unfounded proclamations were promptly buried. Imagine if The Ascension were the FIP, AIW, CZW, 2KW and PWG tag team champions, and they showed up wearing five belts each to make their Raw debuts. JBL, Cole and Lawler wouldn't have immediately buried them - they couldn't because they would've had to also bury five independent wrestling companies, too. Of course, WWE doesn't think like this, so, yeah. We're stuck where we're stuck...welcome to the wasteland.
