10 WWE Superstars Whose Entrance Music Was Better Than They Were
5. Sin Cara
I've written more extensively on the crash-and-burn of the original Sin Cara in another article, so I won't get too into it too much here. What I will say, however, is this:
The original Sin Cara had a fantastic entrance theme.
The tribal drums, along with the Gregorian-like background vocals and the dim lighting of the arena, inspired an evocative feeling of mystery and excitement. It almost made it feel as if an omnipotent warrior of an unknown era was descending to Earth to take down any mortal adversaries who dared to challenge him.
Of course, they likely gifted the former-Místico with this downright-epic song because they had such monumental plans for him when he signed. Obviously, those plans never came to fruition because the sloppy-yet-headstrong nature of the original "man behind the mask," so the song quickly went from being godly to being "oh God"-ly.
If the original Sin Cara had done any time in developmental so that he could get accustomed to North American wrestling, this theme could have received far more recognition than it currently does. And it certainly would have deserved the praise.
