10 WWE Superstars With Surprising Degrees
1. Sin Cara - Embalming
Ok, this one is just weird.
Before becoming the second person to don the Sin Cara mask, Jorge Arias wrestled for the WWE as Huncio. He also worked as "Fake" Sin Cara but that's just too confusing to explain now.
Arias permanently took on the role of Sin Cara in late 2013 and has played the character ever since. In that time, he was most notable for his time as one half of The Lucha Dragons alongside Kalisto. This tandem won the NXT Tag Team Championships, unseating The Ascension and ending their record-setting 364-day reign in the process.
Before he ever set foot in a wrestling ring, Arias grew up in Texas to Mexican immigrant parents. He split his time between the US and Mexico, where his grandparents ran a funeral home.
Whilst training to become a wrestler, Arias worked for his grandparents at the home. During this time, Arias actually earned a degree in Embalming and Funeral Director Services and is fully qualified to run his own funeral home.
Whilst this is a rather bizarre factoid about Sin Cara, at least we know that when Mark Calloway finally decides to retire, there will be someone else qualified to take over The Undertaker gimmick.
