10 WWE Superstars You Only Remember For Their Entrance

5. Mr. Anderson/Kennedy

When Ken Kennedy debuted for WWE, his entrance was so unique that it caused wrestling fans all over the globe to hype him up with insane levels of hyperbole that he could never possibly live up to. Everywhere you looked, you would see people praise his mic skills, talking about how he was one of the best "talkers" around. In actuality, his pre-match promos consisted of the exact same thing, nearly word-for-word, every time. His gimmick of introducing himself for his matches, and then repeating his last name like an old-timey ring announcer, was something different. There's no denying that, no matter what you think of it. His detractors wanted him to branch out a bit, but it never quite happened while he was there. Jumping to TNA seemed like a great idea, especially when the company began to give him more time to speak on the mic. He kept the pre-match introduction gimmick, but he was cutting more and lengthier promos on a regular basis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-I97ZcHWjU While he should have advanced in TNA, his promos may actually have regressed. He still repeats himself, but now, he throws the word "frickin" into his promos time and time again as if he was some frat boy douchebag with his hat turned to the back and multiple collared shirts, all with the collars up. His promos ramble and he throws in curse words, almost simply because TNA and Spike TV allows it. Even with his ascension to the main event scene in TNA, and with two TNA World Title reigns under his belt, he doesn't have very many in-ring moments that people talk about. It's still all about his entrance. For the last nine years, it's his pre-match introductions that have gotten people talking, and it's that entrance that is in people's minds.
