10 WWE Things To Be Excited For Post-WrestleMania 33
1. Focus Returns To The Full-Timers
Perhaps the biggest gripe that the average WWE fan has with the sheer spectacle surrounding WrestleMania is that the focus completely shifts away from the full-time talent. The grandeur of The Undertaker's reemergence or the promise of a Brock Lesnar match take up valuable room on both the weeks leading up to WrestleMania and the event itself.
Lesnar, Goldberg, Undertaker, Shane O'Mac, Triple H, and at one point Shaquille O'Neal, are/were all in marquee spots going into 'Mania. Some are working to put over younger talent, but most are just forced into the limelight for the sake of promoting the event. People may not recognise Kevin Owens or AJ Styles, but they know who Brock Lesnar is. That's enough to relegate incredibly talented full-timers below slowing, part-time performers.
Once WrestleMania is over, Goldberg and 'Taker may depart, Shane and Triple H will return to being authority figures, and Lesnar will be a part-time champ. That means that Owens, Styles, Zayn, Ambrose and the rest of the younger crop get to start working their way back into the main event scene.
Until next year.
