Hulk Hogan was the one to bring babyface heroism back to the WWF Title throne by beating Sgt. Slaughter at WrestleMania VII. After The Ultimate Warrior experimentation, most likely believed the WWF would revert to type and Hogan's reign would be lengthy.

It most certainly wasn't: the Hulkster would lose the strap to The Undertaker (thanks to the help of Ric Flair) at Survivor Series 1991.

Admittedly, this in itself was an experiment; Vince McMahon wanted to produce more pay-per-views, and so he had Hogan's quest to reclaim the title from 'Taker in mind to help promote the This Tuesday In Texas show a mere six days after Survivor Series.

Nonetheless, seeing the pale 'Deadman' beat the heroic Hogan gave the November event a historic moment that could be talked about for years. This was Undertaker's first major title win too, and it definitely put him on the map as a top guy in the company. Any fallout fan shock from his brief foray as champion was worth that.
