Raw 1000 was a pretty memorable night for a number of reasons. DX reunited with all the main members for the first time in years, a litany of legends returned to beat some respect into Heath Slater, while John Cena cashed in his MITB contract against CM Punk for the WWE Championship.
The landmark show also played host to the connubial catastrophe that was Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee's wedding vows. With 'The Doctor of Style' Slick on reverend duties and both DB and AJ decked out in the purest white, the scene was set for their public marriage.
With the couple both emphatically saying "Yes!" - to the hilarious chants of "No!" from the crowd - the nuptials were complete... or so it seemed. Instead of saying "Yes" to Bryan, AJ revealed that she was saying "Yes" to the position of Raw GM. With AJ leaving Bryan devastated at the alter, the jilted groom let loose on the set around him, destroying the wedding props that filled the ring.
To make matters worse, Bryan would take a post-marital beating from none other than 'The People's Champ', The Rock. With Bryan still seething in the ring after his failed nuptials, the former 'American Dragon' found himself locking horns with 'The Brahma Bull', taking a Rock Bottom for his troubles.
