10 WWE WrestleMania 37 Card Predictions After Royal Rumble 2021

2. Universal Title: Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Edge

A boring one, this.

Not a boring match (Edge vs. Roman Reigns is probably going to rule), but in terms of methodology. This Universal Title match heads our card because it’s the only WrestleMania 37 match WWE has actually finalised at the moment. Granted, the card is never not subject to change, and a mind as erratic as Vince McMahon’s will swing in several different directions between now and the big event, but nothing is safer at the moment.

And it makes perfect sense.

And it’ll be great.

Edge is the most sympathetic babyface in the company at the moment, having battled back from serious injury (albeit a little less serious this year, but still serious) injury on two consecutive years to punch his WrestleMania ticket. ‘The Rated R Superstar’ was in that match for over an hour. He went through hell to get here, he’s pushing 50 years old, and is an old, wounded gunslinger in the twilight of his career. Oh, and he’s universal beloved. That’s kind of important when you’re going up against the most domineering heel in the company.

Who better for ‘The Head of the Table’ to lay into on the Grandest Stage, particularly with Dwayne Johnson unavailable?
