After months of uncertainty, it looks like WWE is finally moving forward with a date for WrestleMania 43.

While WWE has previously announced a date and location for WrestleMania a year or more in advance, all that we knew about 'Mania 43 was that it would take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at some point in the first half of 2027.

However, John Pollock and Brandon Thurston now have word that WrestleMania 43 is internally listed for the weekend of April 10th and 11th, with an official WWE announcement expected to be made either at or before Crown Jewel, which takes place on November 7th. Those involved in planning out WrestleMania 43 are currently working with those April dates in mind.

For WrestleMania 43, that marks the first time that WWE has run a WrestleMania outside of North America, and follows on the heels of this year's Royal Rumble also taking place from Riyadh. WWE's existing deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which came into place in 2018, calls for two PLEs to emanate from Saudi Arabia each year, with those events being Night of Champions and Crown Jewel this year, with the 2026 Rumble an additional agreement, much like what is the case for WrestleMania 43 next year.

Of course, with WrestleMania 43 taking place overseas, that has thrown up plentiful questions around the usual WrestleMania Weekend/Week celebrations that have historically seen various independent promotions flock to the 'Mania city to run a whole host of shows, with many fans hopeful that another major wrestling promotion will step in to put on something similar in the US around the time of WrestleMania 43.
