Royal Rumble 2023 might not have been everyone's cup of tea, but it did reward long-term viewers who tune in weekly for Raw and SmackDown. That Bloodline business with Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns at the end, in particular, was a gratifying treat for WWE loyalists who watch everything.

It looks like The Rock won't be hauling on his most electrifying boots come WrestleMania 39, but that leaves room for some cracking possible match-ups Triple H can dangle in front of fans this April. Here, it's time to play detective and piece together some of the clues WWE left in San Antonio.

At least some of these matches are definitely on the card(s) in a few months. Others? Well, it remains to be seen if WWE will go for them, but the fun is in the predicting...right? Besides, Trips has two separate nights to fill, and he'll want all the marquee attractions he can muster.

Roman and Sami pulling double duty, Cody Rhodes trying to honour his iconic father's legacy, family members feuding, hot Intercontinental Title matches, someone battling against his own inner demons - it's all here.

Here's what WWE might have lined up for SoFi Stadium.

10. Dominik Mysterio Vs. Rey Mysterio

Booyaka, booyaka - 6-1...FINE!

After years of teasing, it looks like Rey Mysterio will finally collide with his son Dominik on pay-per-view come 'Mania. The latest chapter in their on/off rivalry happened at the Rumble when Dom seemingly attacked his dad behind the curtain, stole his mask and then entered the match next.

That won't sit well with the iconic masked man. He'll do so begrudgingly, but Rey will have to teach Dominik a lesson with the entire wrestling world watching. Then, WWE can decide whether or not they want a happy babyface finish, or Dom to get some shine by beating his legendary father.

Smart money would go on the latter. Rey himself will likely pitch that Dominik goes over (he'd gain nothing by winning anyway) and gets that first singles win at WrestleMania. WWE have kicked the arse out of the build, but Rey vs. Dom will be a fine addition to either night.
