When the original New World Order trio all returned to WWE in early 2002, it seemed to take a bit of time for it to sink in: Hulk Hogan was back. Only when Hogan stared down The Rock four weeks prior to WrestleMania did the Chicago fans become the first to publicly catch on to the fact that a WWE pillar had come home after nine years away, cheering him in spots during the staredown. Toronto was another story. At WrestleMania 18, Hulkamania was reborn, pulling out every bit from the old red-and-yellow bag of tricks. By the time Hogan began 'Hulking Up' to deafening cheers, McMahon probably made a mental note to cash in with at least one more World Championship reign for "The Immortal". Five weeks later, and who's that pinning Triple H for the gold?
