Here's that bout referenced a few entries back.

Most fans figured the then-WWF would try to book Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan at 'Mania X8, but then ol' Terry got programmed opposite The Rock and 'Stone Cold' had to pick up sloppy seconds. It was either Kevin Nash or Scott Hall, and Austin landed on the ex-Razor Ramon.

Sadly, Hall was nowhere near the performer he'd been even five years ago when he rolled into Toronto for WrestleMania. So, around one year after blowing the roof off 'Mania X-Seven vs. The Rock, Steve was forced to stumble around with a past-his-prime Razor on the biggest show of 2002.

They went less than 12 minutes. It felt like 112. Even Jim Ross on commentary, who had provided legendary soundtracks to some of his pal's best moments, struggled to add energy to the worst 'Mania match of Austin's run.

What a depressing situation this was for everybody.
