10 WWE Wrestler Attires That Paid Tribute To Other Wrestlers

8. Bayley - Shawn Michaels (NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn)

Shawn Michaels will feature prominently in this list, but not all of it will be positive. This, however, is a celebration of some stunning gear and two iconic moments.

Viewed through the rose-tint of WWE's self-styled history 'HBK's WrestleMania XII WWE Championship win became less about the 61 minutes before the three count and more about how "The Boyhood Dream" came true afterwards. His tear-soaked celebration put over the importance of the prize he held in front of him and all it represented.

Bayley's TakeOver: Brooklyn look mirrored his, itself a mirror of the gold he craved. The stunning white and gold was understated compared to her regular rainbow palette, but she dressed for the job she wanted rather than the one she had. And she got it in even grander fashion - history will shine brighter on her battle with Sasha Banks than Shawn's with Bret Hart.

Her celebrations were just as pointed too. A group hug alongside her fellow Four Horsewomen as they left for pastures new was a company-approved take on 1996's "Curtain Call". Considering impact, it could be argued it was far more worthy too.

More on Bayley and Sasha later, and more on Shawn Michaels right now...
