It may have been a a year since their transcendent NXT Women's Championship match, but Bayley and Sasha Banks were facing off yet again Brooklyn even with 'The Boss' on the other side of the guardrail.

Preparing for what proved to be her NXT swansong, 'The Hugger' marched triumphantly to the ring even though devastating defeat awaited. A Women's Title match against Asuka yielded an awesome outcome, even though it didn't go Bayley's way.

Her loss on the night played out to a standing ovation as she symbolically bid farewell to an audience she'd helped cultivate, but the opening moments of the clash revealed a symbolic gesture to two of the biggest reasons she'd become such an irrepressible figure on the beloved developmental brand.

In tribute to Dusty Rhodes exactly as she had done the previous year, her wrist support was adorned with polka dots, this time in sync with her blue and white attire rather than his traditional black and yellow. Her headband, as she would highlight to Banks in the front row, was repurposed from Sasha's actual gear from their legendary TakeOver war.
