10 WWE Wrestlers You Didn't Know Appeared In Movies

9. Terry Funk In Road House

Before his turn in this 1980's Patrick Swayze action film, Funk had turns in the Sylvester Stallone films Paradise Alley and Over The Top. It was always likely that Funk, one of the best sellers in wrestling history, would find work on the big screen. In Road House, Funk plays a heavy for a nefarious business owner and he and his fellow rough-housing buddies try to make Swayze's life hell. Brawls ensue and Funk gets knocked out by the dirty dancer, proving that the movies are, in fact, faker than wrestling. The film is a great slice of 1980's action cinema and Funk's performance, while brief, is great. He even performed his own stunts. What a pro.
