10 WWE Wrestlers You Didn't Know Appeared In Movies

4. Lenny Montana In The Godfather

The Godfather is widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time. The perfomances of Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, James Caan, Diane Keaton and Robert Duvall are legendary. What then, is a professional wrestler doing anywhere near this iconic work? Wrestlers only appear in cheap 1980's action or obscure kung-fu films, right? The towering Lenny Montana had the small but vital role of Luca Brasi, Don Vito Corleone's loyal and feared hitman. Montana had previously enjoyed a respectable career as a professional wrestling, performing under the name The Zebra Kid and under his real name for the NWA. With his career winding down in the 1970's, Montana took to acting and, legend has it, he was only on the set of The Godfather because he was working as an enforcer for real-life mobsters The Columbo Family. His performance in The Godfather opened doors for Montana and he regularly worked as an actor until his death in 1992. Now, Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Za3vgqxQDHE
