10 WWE Wrestlers DOOMED Without Vince McMahon

6. Reggie

The 24/7 Title division was conspicuous by its absence on Triple H's first Raw.

Bad comedy skits and Benny Hill chases featuring Reggie, R-Truth, Tamina, and Akira Tozawa were nowhere to be found on a show that otherwise felt like a Vince McMahon broadcast. Whether or not anything should be read into this is debatable, however. While the 25 July Raw was technically helmed by Levesque, swooping creative changes six days before SummerSlam were never likely.

While not everything Triple H books will be super serious and grimdark (Bull Fit, we hardly knew ye), nothing from his booking career thus far suggests he shares his father-in-law's taste for bad, WWE-brand comedy. That he doesn't like the 24/7 Championship is a fair assumption.

This wouldn't bode well for Reggie, who has never been a conventional wrestler on WWE's roster. A Vince-approved project with a fun, flippy skillset from his Cirque du Soleil background, he is synonymous with a division that wore out its welcome within weeks of its 2019 launch and an unproven wrestler in a product whose booking has traditionally emphasised the Sports over the Entertainment, Reggie appears an awkward fit.
