10 WWE Wrestlers DOOMED Without Vince McMahon

Triple H and Theory's shared past could be interpreted as a sign that Mr. Money in the Bank will flourish under his former mentor's creative lead. Not only was 'The Game' pivotal in scouting and signing the 24-year-old while he was with Evolve, but he was hands-on in his development in NXT as well - and has publically spoken about wanted to him the former Austin progress.

This was before Vince McMahon adopted Theory as his on-air prodigy and attempted a rocket-strapped push, which is going no better today than when the duo started appearing on television together.

Theory is yet to demonstrate the qualities required of a convincing main-eventer. He is quite good at many things but exceptional at none, coming across as artificial, like he was created in a lab. A good look and expressive midcard charisma aside, he is a long way from the red-hot headlining prospect Vince seemingly saw in him.

A distinct lack of any kind of crowd connection makes Theory's continued high-level push a hard sell going forward. Triple H will not be blind to this. 24 is too young to write a wrestler off for good, but 'The Game' may opt to at least dial Theory's positioning back even further - starting with him dropping the Money in the Bank briefcase.
