10 WWE Wrestlers HYPED Vince McMahon Is Gone

9. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens is quietly one of WWE's most valuable television performers. Capable of taking any storyline and at least making it watchable, from the main event scene all the way down to the recent Ezekiel deal, he is the kind of wrestler the company could use a dozen of. KO constantly knocks it out of the park with his wit, charm, and sharp tongue.

Beyond that, he has been a great, selfless wrestler for decades now. While his hard-bumping style isn't necessarily going to last forever, Owens guarantees graft. He breaks his back to service the storyline and the people he's working with.

These attributes, combined with his versatility, are why he gets shuffled around the card so much. Kevin Owens is going to do a good job whether he's opposite Ezekiel, Seth Rollins, or Roman Reigns. But Vince McMahon was unquestionably leaving money on the table by icing the 'Prizefighter' persona, which Triple H now appears to be addressing.

KO's one-sided pounding of Ezekiel on this week's Raw was telling. The days of Owens duffing around in undercard programs that do little for him and everything for his opponent are over. Six years on, the bloodthirsty bastard who so cruelly turned on Sami Zayn in a heartbreaking NXT debut is back.
