10 WWE Wrestlers HYPED Vince McMahon Is Gone

6. Karrion Kross

So frustrated with his first main roster run was Karrion Kross that he insisted on Scarlett accompanying him for post-WWE independent bookings. Understandable, given the hatchet job Vince McMahon did of promoting him on Raw, having removed Scarlett as his manager, dressed him like Bondage Kwang, and jobbed him out to Jeff Hardy in a four-minute debut.

An abject flop of a run culminated in both Kross and Scarlett being cut in November. Now, both are back in a bigger, more meaningful role, with Triple H immediately inserting his former NXT Champion into the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship hunt.

Rubbing shoulders with Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns on his first night back is why Kross will be delighted to be working under Triple H, not Vince McMahon. He is about to be given one of the strongest pushes on the roster. Where Vince buried him, Hunter will endeavour to get him over as a major league monster.

Whether or not he is successful in doing so remains to be seen, but one need only look at Kross' NXT run to understand the blueprint Triple H will follow.
