Originally, Kevin Owens was going to double up with his old tag-team partner in a 'two for one' entry here. In truth, Kev probably has a better chance of showing up at WrestleMania than Sami - he could work Logan Paul again, or even fill the void as GUNTHER's Intercontinental Title challenger.

Zayn doesn't have as many possibilities to ponder.

He took another kicking from Drew McIntyre on Raw, and appears to be peripheral more than pivotal during 'Mania season this year. That's a downer for the guy, not least because he headlined last year's opening night with a fan-pleasing tag title win alongside KO vs. The Usos.

At this rate, Sami will be calling up old foe Johnny Knoxville and seeing if he fancies working the comedy gimmick again like they did back in 2022. Has anybody else gone from comedy midcarder to headliner and then nothing across three consecutive WrestleManias?

Sami could well be the first.
