10 WWE Wrestlers Lost In The Shuffle

8. Elias

A series of vignettes supposedly reintroducing and reimagining the Elias character haven't really generated much buzz because they haven't really reintroduced and reimagined the Elias character.

He's done away with his guitar, and very possibly even his name based on a grave he walked away from in one of the skits, but he's little more than a Malibu Stacey at present - he's got a new hat, and that's about it.

The former 'Drifter' has an awesome physique at present. Honed during the reduced/non-existent schedule at the height of the pandemic, Elias took his already ripped torso and added some mass, but even that's been made more obvious from his own Instagram posts rather than anything WWE have touched upon on-screen.

Again, if it was possible to see what's actually so new about this gimmick, he might stand a chance. As is, this is already looking like a false dawn followed by an Emmalina-level retcon.
