10 WWE Wrestlers Most Likely To Be Released In 2016
6. Rosa Mendes
There's no way Rosa will still be employed by WWE at the end of 2016, right? It's a bit of a wonder that she's lasted this long. Despite being with the company for years, and having a background in martial arts training, she never developed the skills to become even a passable in-ring worker. WWE hasn't trusted her to compete in a singles match since September of 2014. In 2015, with the addition of Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Charlotte, it's hard to see where Rosa would fit in when she returns from pregnancy. It's possible they'll keep her as a backstage interviewer, but with Renee Young and JoJo already doing a good job in that role, that also seems unlikely. Now in the old days of WWE, they would fire a woman while she was pregnant (see Dawn Marie), but it's likely they wouldn't try and pull that one again. Still, when Rosa is ready to return, the company may find out they simply don't have anything for her.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
