10 WWE Wrestlers Poised To Break Out In 2024

2. Chase U

Symbolic of NXT's shift from failed developmental model to something good enough to secure them a five year deal and hundreds of millions of dollars, Chase U is a fundamentally dumb concept that makes perfect sense in the context the brand has established.

In that sense, it will be the biggest test of Shawn Michaels and Triple H's working relationship yet. For reasons never really explained, an academic institution exists within the world of the Performance Center (as opposed to merely being a developmental training centre), with a lecturer, star pupils and actual classes. Can that translate to Raw or SmackDown?

Maybe!

The matches are incidental, but members of the group have competed for and won titles, and gotten hugely over in the process. The bell-to-bell isn't yet reaching the ceiling of the show's increased quality, but Duke Hudson has a hot tag you've got to see to believe, Andre Chase and Thea Hail have developed rounded characters magnificently well and Jacy Jayne has experienced a total career renaissance by mere association with the crew.
