10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Having A Very Bad 2022

6. Queen Zelina

Zelina Vega could tell Nikki a thing or two about failed pushes herself.

Vega returned to WWE last summer and trundled along before winning the first Queen's Crown tournament at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. That, of course, led to the usual royal-themed characterisation; this proved to be a noose around Zelina's neck, but that's hardly her fault.

Pivoting but stuck for ideas, WWE plonked the Queen into one of their usual thrown-together tag-teams with fellow straggler Carmella and hoped for the best. Their 132-day reign as Women's Tag Champs was so nondescript that this writer can barely remember anything from it, which really says everything.

Post-WrestleMania 38 (where the pair dropped the belts to Sasha Banks and Naomi), Vega turned on 'Mella and has all-but-disappeared from rings. Her two-minute loss to Bianca Belair was another damning reminder that the Queen's Crown tourney did nothing to remould her into a singles smash hit.

Another tag-team awaits, doesn't it?
