10 WWE Wrestlers Who Are Missing Right Now

6. Elias

It's hard to swing that guitar at 'King' Corbin's head with a torn pec.

SmackDown's resident Van Hammer reprise (sort of) was written off TV on the 29 May episode after a seemingly-intoxicated Jeff Hardy ran him over. What a bloody sentence that is. The gimmicked incident was really just cover for that aforementioned torn pectoral muscle that'll sideline Eli for anywhere between six-nine months.

When he returns, WWE should really think about the best way to use their roving songsmith. There's no need to sugarcoat the truth: Elias is intolerable as a babyface. All the coolness he exuded as a brash heel gets chipped away when he's penning unfunny ditties like a bargain bin version of The Rock.

Elias has charisma and is better than some think in-ring, but he doesn't have a hope in hell of succeeding unless he reverts to his heel character ASAP. That's his ticket to upper-card relevance, slightly comedic character or not.
