10 WWE Wrestlers Who Have VANISHED From TV
8. Brendan Vink
Remember Brendan Vink? Doubtful.
The Australian artist formerly known as Elliot Sexton hasn't wrestled a match since 11 May. It's been just over nine months since we last saw him. For reference, the Raw episode to host his last match was the same episode where Becky Lynch revealed her pregnancy.
Brought up to the main roster in order to fill some space at the onset of the global health crisis, Vink was predominantly found teaming with fellow countryman Shane Thorne in a mismatched pairing managed, for some reason, by MVP pre-Hurt Business. Together, they achieved very little on the red brand, with their sole victory coming during a mini-feud of sorts vs. Cedric Alexander and Ricochet.
That he isn't suffering from any sort of injury doesn't bode well for Vink. He's perfectly healthy as far as we know, and still doesn't have a spot on television. He could easily be used as card fodder on NXT, but even then, the guy is six foot five inches, and weighs just over 250 pounds.
Why doesn't Vince McMahon want him featured regularly?!
It's a shame that he doesn't really seem to fit into the current WWE landscape, as he was once quite a high-profile grappler back down under. As is often the case with big indie talents coming to WWE, though, he's been failed by the system.
