10 WWE Wrestlers Who Must Also Join AEW

2. Kofi Kingston

If there'd be one thing even more wholesome than Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E thriving separately on different WWE brands and supporting each other through every step, it'd be all of them doing it on entirely different endeavours.

It looks as though it could be a slightly bumpy Road To WrestleMania for E, but it's hard not to imagine that's not the definite destination. Woods has proven himself adept in hosting roles, including his newest one on Talking Smack. He also grew into a role as the New Day's understated superworker during a 2017 stint that may have been their best ever run. Kofi Kingston made history and brought the f*cking house down when he defeated Daniel Bryan and became WWE Champion in 2019. But the moment was so loaded with pathos that nothing during the run could top it. An AEW run could redefine his glittering legacy entirely.

Arriving having effectively completed the WWE game, All Elite Wrestling could be a landscape to test what he still had to offer between the ropes while moulding him as a hugely valuable coach. He's got several good years left at the top level, but there's just as much to mine from the tenured pro that some of the less-seasoned stars could surely benefit from.
