Lesson: How to sustain your intensity.

Bill Goldberg made a career out of wrecking people in minimal time with about as much care as a lion has for a gazelle. His matches weren't long but you knew that they were a must-see, as the poor soul facing opposite would soon find out.

What made Goldberg a main event attraction was his uncompromising intensity. Be it head-butting mirrors or punching in car windows, if Goldberg did it, he went all in.

That standard of insane focus has been missing from Braun Strowman's act for over a year now. When he announced himself as the next big man to be taken seriously, he was steamrolling enhancement talent, flipping ambulances and collapsing rings. Then, Nicholas dragged him to Tag title glory at WrestleMania 34 and the previous teasing (including an unfunny Brain Strowman alter ego) of a goofier, slapstick Strowman were consolidated, leaving all that well-earned terror in tatters.

Do you think you'd ever catch Goldberg dressing up as his alter ego Silverberg for your entertainment? He'd probably spear you through a wall for even suggesting it.

Strowman shouldn't be wrestling long slogs, either (Goldberg also learnt that the hard way): just get him in to destroy whatever's in front of him and get him out.
