10 WWE Wrestlers Who Should Jump Ship To AEW Next
6. Zelina Vega
Wrestling fans all over were very relieved when Zelina Vega jumped back into the WWE scene. Her firing from the company was majorly unjust, and her sudden return felt like the universe getting back into place. Unfortunately, it seems WWE might not be the right fit for her anymore.
Vega is on SmackDown every week but has fallen to a 0-9 record since returning. There is a slew of personal and creative reasons why AEW would be a better place for her.
Firstly, thanks to her marriage with Tom Budgen (AEW's Malakai Black), there would be support waiting there for her. Another reason would be that WWE seems to have little care for her feelings. Her firing notwithstanding, they also screwed up majorly on the recent SmackDown 9-11 show, where Vega (whose father died in the attack) was cut from the show due to time constraints.
Even more than that, she's also a huge geek, as seen in her multiple video game/anime-inspired costumes. The creative freedom and similar fandoms frequent in AEW would mean she could embrace this side of her to its fullest extent. It sounds like fun for her and her fans.
