10 WWE Wrestlers Whose Theme Songs Were The Best Thing About Them

8. Sheamus

In 2009, former FCW Heavyweight Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy was called up from developmental, relieved of his last name, and put on the ECW brand. Despite his inexperience and lack of finesse, Sheamus got a huge push. He destroyed many ECW stars and was quickly moved up to the Raw roster.

Accompanying Sheamus was his theme, "Written in My Face." Composed by Jim Johnston and given a vague Irish feel, the song was initially famous more for its hard-to-interpret lyrics ("lost your head" was heard as "lobster head," while "too many lies" became "too many limes") than anything else, but it was too endearing to discount for long, and it soon won a place in fans' hearts.

That's more than can be said for Sheamus. He got a huge push based on his size and look, including a ridiculous accidental win of the WWE Championship over John Cena. The push continued with only a few roadblocks, though by 2012 he had improved to the point that he made a good upper-card babyface.

Injuries soon slowed his momentum, though, and when he turned heel after WrestleMania 31- leading to arguably the worst year of his career thus far - he ditched the music altogether. Suddenly, there was no reason left to care.
