10 WWE Wrestlers Who Would Win A Real Fight

9. Ron Simmons

Ron Simmons retired from the ring in 2010, ending a 24 year career that surely took its toll on his body. At 56 years of age, Ron is older, he's slower and at this point he is used on TV only for his "Damn" catchphrase that always brings a laugh from the crowd. Ron Simmons is now a kinder, gentler, Ron Simmons. But you don't want to pick a fight with him. Believed to be one of the toughest men to ever compete in a pro wrestling ring, Ron was the definition of "smash mouth." He hit harder, moved faster and had more intensity than the majority of the locker room he worked out of, whether it was WCW or WWE. He was hard as nails and did not give an inch to any opponent. If you worked a match with Ron Simmons, you likely felt if for days. He was the real deal and he brought a ferocity to the industry that was rarely ever matched by anyone else. Ron knew how to wrestle but he also knew how to fight and it was apparent every time he stepped through the ropes. While many outside the business insist on calling pro wrestling "fake," they would be hard pressed to use that term when watching a Ron Simmons match. So would the men that stood across from him in the ring. Ron made it look good because he knew it mattered. There was nothing phony about him. Put Ron in an APA T-Shirt right now, throw him in the middle of a bar room brawl, outnumbered 10 to 1 and the results will not be pretty. 56 or not, the fact is the other 10 guys are going to need some backup. Damn right.
