10 WWE Wrestlers With The Triple H STINK
4. Akira Tozawa
You'll find some arguing that Akira Tozawa is having his best main roster run in ages. Maybe ever.
He's wrestling regularly across Raw and NXT in matches that occasionally sneak beyond the three-star range, he's attached to an Alpha Academy act that is impervious to death because the indestructible Chad Gable is part of it and - and this is the reality of the low bar here - isn't a ninja.
Yes, these things and the weekly profile they afford Tozawa in 2023 will presumably be enough for the former Cruiserweight Champion, but at 38 years old he hasn't yet left his wrestler prime and it's extremely odd that Triple H seems content with keeping him comedy-adjacent when WWE at large has been the tightest version of itself in 23 years.
Or is it?
'The Game' may have mostly nailed his first full year in charge of the company, but he's got his safety nets and the former Dragon Gate firecracker has well and truly fallen into one. It's one of those things where all parties could well be relatively content with the arrangement, but why - with more resources than ever - should mere compromise be a ceiling?
