8. Zack Ryder

A pioneer for online fan engagement long before WWE were hip to the room, Zack Ryder galvanised the massive following he'd built up through YouTube sensation 'Z! True Long Island Story' into similar-sized groupings on Twitter and Instagram.

After using the accounts at his disposal to tirelessly campaign for his own career success, Zack's pages took an altogether different tone when it became desperately apparent that the company would never invest in him in the way he had himself.

Appearing to find an inner peace with at least becoming a WWE regular with a fanbase never likely to leave his side, Zack instead elected to show his social media following the life he loves leading despite never quite reaching the summit as a superstar.

Collecting prized toys, indulging in his passion for Disney and sharing memories old and new from his life as a wrestling fan, Ryder is living his best life, and showing his adoring public. In what can sometimes be a swamp, there's a simplistic pleasure to that.
