10 WWE Wrestlers You MUST Follow That Dominate Social Media

5. Rusev

Poor Rusev. Routinely deserving more than he gets, 'The Bulgarian Brute' remains a bizarrely erudite character on Twitter, managing the account half in character whilst peppering his feed with support for his beloved Real Madrid and the general endeavours of his wife Lana.

His persona moments are the unbridled highlights though. Bone dry and achingly funny, Rusev cuts through the clunky dialogue of a traditional WWE talk-in, frees himself from catchphrases and revels in the simplicity of cynical abuse.

His page looked particularly essential during the brief spell where WWE positioned him as a disenfranchised megastar looking to potentially hold up SmackDown Live! for a title shot lest he walk off the job completely, but the tweets and references to that arc dropped off as quickly as the angle itself.
