Cedric Alexander is one of those wrestlers who seems like they have been around forever, and one openly assumes is older than they actually are. Alexander is the youngest of the 1989 births in this list, entering the world on August 16 of that year and being born right in the heart of Flair Country.

Alexander was a month short of his 20th birthday when he had his first match, and just 21 when he began working consistently for Ring of Honor. He would go on to be an ROH staple for a number of years, before leaving in May of this year ahead of the Cruiserweight Classic.

Alexander didn't go too far in the CWC, but it is widely believed that his performance against Kota Ibushi in the second round was the catalyst in getting him signed. Since then Alexander has flipped between competing with the Cruiserweights on Raw and on NXT, and seems to have a little more momentum behind him than some of his cruiser compadres.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
