The power of love. A force from above.

Otis getting the hots for Mandy Rose (and vice versa) proved to be one of 2020's best WWE storylines. The unlikely romance was teased towards the end of 2019, but wouldn't explode until the following year. At the Rumble, Otis showed how much his "peach" meant to him by saving Mandy from elimination in the women's Rumble.

WWE's production team deserved a raise for the way they panned out to show Rose laying on top of Otis right as it seemed she was a goner. The respective smiles on both of their faces said it all. Later, Sonya Deville (who was jealous of Mandy finding love and didn't like Heavy Machinery generally) would ruin everything.

Oh well, it was a special moment while it lasted. Fans popped big when they realised that Otis had saved the day. WWE surely knew they were onto something special with the lovesick story too. This was the start of Otis-mania in the company, and he'd keep that going all the way through the summer by winning Money in the Bank.
