1994 was a huge year for Kevin Nash, with Big Sexy not only winning the first title of his career, but becoming a grand slam champion by the time all was said and done - defeating Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental Title in April, teaming with Shawn Michaels to beat The Headshrinkers for the Tag Team Titles in August, and finally squashing Bob Backlund to become WWF Champion in November.

And kickstarting 1994, was a massively impressive Royal Rumble outing for Nash under his Diesel persona.

The seventh entrant in the match, Big Daddy Cool went on a monstrous tear, eliminating Bart Gunn, Scott Steiner, Owen Hart, Kwang, Bob Backlund, Billy Gunn, and Virgil - in turn setting a record for most consecutive Rumble eliminations with seven.

When it was time to bring an end to Diesel's run of dominance, it took the combined efforts of Bam Bam Bigelow, Crush, Mabel, Sparky Plugg, and technically Shawn Michaels.

He may have been a no-good heel at this point, but the loud cheers received by Diesel on that night sowed the seeds for a babyface turn later in the year and the inevitable feud with the Heartbreak Kid.
